After the company canceled the film’s release, it was passed on to other distributors
Faced with the threat of an alien invasion, Porky Pig and Daffy Duck are Earth’s only hope. The first Looney Tunes film to be released in theaters by Warner Bros., images from it were not distributed. The film was originally intended to be an exclusive streaming release on the streaming service Max. Eventually, GFM Animation acquired the worldwide distribution rights and released the film in theaters.
Porky does the same later in the scene
Inside the meteor, Daffy shows off his talent for control: he pulls the lever to lower the machine and pushes it to make it rise again. But when Porky and Petunia are strapped in, Daffy pushes the lever forward and the machine lowers them further down. At the end of the credits, Porky Pig gives his classic line, “That’s all, folks!” only to be interrupted by Daffy Duck, who told him that this wasn’t the end of the movie and that they needed a sequel.. However, some of the writing was a bit stale and disjointed
Mr. Bass ManWritten by Johnny CymbalDigitrax Entertainment in association with Covered Records, Inc.. I liked the expressiveness of the characters and the fluidity of the animation. Since this film is aimed at kids (like most Warner Brothers films I know), I’m pretty sure they’ll like it.
The kids were obviously the focus, so more power to them
For parents, teenagers, or just adults in general – not so much. There were too many scary moments, constantly repeating stereotypes, and other scenes that seemed boring or predictable. The only moment that surprised me was the main “antagonist,” although even that seemed more random than humorous. Again, this is a kids’ movie, but some kids around the age of 10 may not find it funny.
A balance could have been achieved, but this movie clearly missed it
Of course, this is all a matter of personal taste, but I like it when animated movies give their villains a backstory or motivation that I care about. It would have been better if the characters had pursued their goals with more heart instead of trying (and failing) to be comical.
