Soria returns to Cambodia to find herself after her mother’s death, where she finds a family she never knew and an old building full of dark secrets. There were walls that were okay. The camerawork, acting, and props were good, but it lacked a bit of excitement, at least for me and the people in the theater who watched it with me. It was pretty boring for a horror movie. The events that followed and the ending were predictable and not unexpected. It went on for over 1 hour, but it felt too short and unsatisfying. And is it just me, or was what actually happened to her mother not explained well? I don’t know what she did to make the people in the building angry. What happened back then that caused things like this to happen today? Was there always a curse in the dream? Who was the first old woman in the rocking chair? Who is Metta, anyway? Crazy.
