When Boyd enters a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well
The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, fire station, school, church, general store, etc. (all demolished by 2004) to support workers from the nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. The cobblestone streets and alleys were all that remained and the fake town was built on top of them..

Season 1 & 2 were great, but they unnecessarily stretched out the episodes of season 3, which is annoying
Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans, Performed by The Pixies. The episode of season 3 was good, but then they just build up some moments that don’t make us emotionally connect with the situation and mostly fast-forwarded a few unwanted conversations with the characters. It used to be very exciting, but now it has devolved into a drama that seems out of place.
Maybe they have plans for another season
I think after the first episode of season 3, the remaining 8 episodes can actually be compressed to a maximum of 3 episodes. But this method of stretching episodes is not ideal as most fans find it annoying, including me. Hopefully they fix the problem in the next season.
